President - Scott Rubicz

Leads the overall vision and direction of the organization and serves as its primary representative. Oversees player placement, coaching selection, fundraising strategy, and resolution of parent/player/coaching concerns, ensuring alignment across all areas of the program.

VP of Boys (LZ Hoops) - Matt Soellner

Oversees boys program operations, including player evaluations and placement, coaching assignments, and team scheduling, ensuring a consistent and competitive experience.

VP of Girls (Jr. Bears) - Frank Dohleman

Oversees girls program operations, including player evaluations and placement, coaching assignments, and team scheduling, ensuring a consistent and competitive experience.

Coaching Support & Development - OPEN

Oversees coach recruitment, onboarding, and development by providing training, resources, and ongoing support. Manages equipment and executes background checks to ensure a safe and prepared coaching staff.

Communications & Data - OPEN

Manages organizational communication and systems through the Crossbar platform, including website updates, email distribution, registration processes, and maintaining accurate player and program data. Also develops the LZFBA’s social media presence.

Scheduling - OPEN

Coordinates with D95 personnel and secures gym space for practices and games. Builds and manages the master schedule to optimize facility usage across all teams.

Finance - Dan Hemler

Executes the financial operations of the organization, including budgeting, forecasting, bill payment, tax compliance, insurance, and oversees fundraising efforts.
